Back to Resources

ieso is pleased to welcome James Dold as Head of Sales and a member of the Executive Leadership Team.

A seasoned healthcare leader, James brings more than 20 years of experience across behavioral health, strategic partnerships, value-based care, and clinical operations. He joins ieso from Talkiatry, the nation’s largest independent psychiatry practice, where he served as Vice President of Strategic Partnerships and built a $75M active pipeline across the behavioral health market.

Previously, James held senior commercial and strategy roles at Mindoula, Lumeris, Evolent Health, Privia Health, and CVS Health, working with payers, health systems, and providers at the center of the shift from fee-for-service to value-based care.

What sets James apart is his combination of commercial expertise and clinical grounding. As a registered psychiatric nurse, he has worked inside care delivery, built utilization management programs, and designed clinical workflows from the ground up. That experience gives him a practical understanding of what it takes to integrate behavioral health into real-world care environments.

“James is exactly the kind of leader ieso needs at this stage, and we are thrilled to have him leading our commercial growth.”

“James is exactly the kind of leader ieso needs at this stage, and we are thrilled to have him leading our commercial growth”, said Kent Tangen, CEO of ieso. “His experience across behavioral health, value-based care, and strategic partnerships is critical as we expand the reach of the Velora program and help more chronic condition and behavioral health platforms deliver evidence-based mental health support quickly and at scale.”

James was drawn to ieso by the depth of its clinical evidence and the opportunity to bring mental health support directly into the platforms and care pathways people already use and trust.

“Velora is built on robust clinical research and 1 million hours of outcomes-linked therapy data,” said James. “That matters. It changes the conversation with every health plan, digital health company, and care organization serious about delivering whole-person care that improves outcomes and delivers meaningful ROI.”

James joins at a significant moment for ieso and the broader market. Chronic condition and behavioral health platforms are under increasing pressure to deliver more integrated, whole-person support while improving engagement, outcomes, and ROI.

He brings deep experience building partnerships across the organizations that shape care delivery, including digital health companies, payers, health systems, and behavioral health organizations. That perspective is critical as ieso helps partners embed evidence-based mental health support directly into the care pathways people already use and trust.

We are delighted to welcome James to the team!
